April and May 2013 events

This weekend we will be having the following events at CFRPC:

Saturday, April 27th, midrange, we are back under the cover for the mid-year heat, bring a mat with padding
Sunday, April 28th, CMP 80 shot reduced course, very simular to NRA XTC if you have not tried it yet, both service rifle and match rifle.

The weekend after, May 4th, we will have an NRA 80 shot XTC match.

New Release and Waiver Procedure

With the new season upon us, we also have a new release and waiver form for the competitive shooting activities. The new form will be good for a year, assuming that you remember to bring the card out to each match. You will also have the option of filling out a waiver each match if you don't want to mess with the card. We will have copies of these forms (both the extended and regular) at the matches, however, since EVERYONE will need to fill out one for this Saturday and Sunday match, please come a little early, and if you can, please fill it out ahead of time by following the directions on the web site.

2013-14 Waiver Available for Download

All participants must sign a liability waiver each year. The 2013 CFRPC Competition Extented Liability Waiver can be downloaded HERE. This is a .pdf form which can be filled in, printed, 3 hole punched, and brought to the range. This will save you time and help us read your information. Please note, by turning in this Liability Waiver, you will get a card at your next match that indicates CFRPC has a liability waiver on file for you. You can show this card at any CFRPC match to avoid having to sign another waiver. However, if you forget to bring the card with you, you will have to sign another release: NO EXCEPTIONS. Show a card or sign a waiver.

Upcoming and New Matches Jan/Feb

The upcoming HPR matches at CFRPC are...

January 26, Midrange/F-Class. Registration starts at 8AM, Shooting at 9AM. 60 rounds plus sighters. NOTE: Before this match, we will need to place the number boards back up on the hill, all of the locations are marked and it will only take 15 or so minutes if Robert and I can get a few helpers. NO RIFLES or equipment will be allowed on the 300 yd line until the number boards are up...

January 27, 80 round ATC, Registration starts at 8AM, Shooting at 9AM

February 2, 80 round CMP club match. These matches are new for this year and are sponsored by the CMP. The format and rules are the same as a leg match, no sighters, we will shoot the 80 round version, 20 standing, 20 stand to sitting, 20 stand to prone and 20 slow prone.
