ACTION STEEL LEAGUE. An Action Steel match usually consists of 5-6 stages, each with multiple shooting positions and an array of steel plates typically requiring from 16-24 rounds, assuming you get all your hits. You should be comfortable moving between shooting positions and reloading on the move.
ICORE. The International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts is Action Shooting using modern revolvers. Our sport combines elements of the Bianchi Cup, IPSC, and the Steel Challenge into demanding competition exclusively for revolvers.
IDPA. The Central Florida Defensive Pistol Association is an affiliated club with the International Defensive Pistol Association. We follow the IDPA rulebook at all our matches, including all equipment.
The Rimfire Challenge match is designed for new shooters to step into shooting competition. Using a .22 rifle and/or pistol (some shoot rifle or pistol only, some shoot both, up to the competitor) this is an introduciton to shooting matches without the pressure of complex stage design.

USPSA is a very dynamic handgun shooting sport involving challenging stages with free-style movement and a mix of paper, steel and moving targets. In addition to production handguns, this is the match where you'll see a lot of high performance "race guns" with or without optics.
YOUTH STEEL at Central Florida Rifle and Pistol Club is affiliated with the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation. Our goal is to introduce youth to the sport of action pistol speed shooting and ultimately encourage participation in the SASP. We follow the procedures, scoring and courses of fire from the SASP Rulebook.

BLACK POWDER CARTRIDGE RIFLE SILHOUETTE. The guns used in Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Silhouette are single shot rifles, either original or reproductions of guns available from 1860 through 1890, chambered for black powder cartridges available during this period.
CENTRAL FLORIDA CARBINE. Central Florida Carbine matches allow shooters to focus on building their semi-auto rifle/carbine maneuver skills, as well as various other techniques in the employment, speed, and manual of arms of your chosen platform.
CENTRAL FLORIDA PRECISION RIMFIRE. Central Florida Precision Rimfire is a precision shooting discipline patterned after High Power Rifle. All rifles must be chambered in 22 LR with a precision of 1 MOA or better and have variable magnified optics. Target ranges out to 300 yards.
HIGH POWER RIFLE. CFRPC offers NRA sanctioned Across the Course and Mid-Range matches, as well as CMP approved Vintage Rifle events. Be sure to check the online match schedule for the latest changes.
MUZZLELOADING RIFLE. Muzzleloading is a discipline of patience, tried and true. Your one shot in the “old days” could mean the difference in survival or feeding your family, so you learned then, as now, to make that “one shot” count.

SMALLBORE RIFLE competition is fired with single-shot .22” Long Rifle firearms, using either iron sights or telescopic sights. Firing is done from the prone, kneeling and standing (and occasionally sitting) positions. Distances to targets are 50 feet, 50 yards, 100 yards, (and 50 meters for International competition). Time limits are very generous; essentially the time limits are designed to make sure we go home for dinner!

SHOTGUN 5 STAND. 5 stand is a cross between trap, skeet and sporting clays with the advantage that it is more action packed than trap, has more crossing/flying patterns than skeet and is faster and less expensive than sporting clays. 5 stand is in comparison to sporting clays because of the wide variety of targets thrown.

CENTRAL FLORIDA MULTI-GUN is a local action shooting sport that allows participants to compete on stages using a pistol, rifle, and shotgun all during a single match.
2GUNPCC. Using a pistol and a pistol caliber carbine (rifle) on a single stage, shooters will make their way through a run-and-gun, action-packed stage filled with steel targets. There are divisions for Centerfire, Rimfire, and a combo of both. This friendly, safe, and fun-filled match takes place on the 5th Sunday of the month.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SOCIETY. Cowboy Action Shooting is one of the fastest growing shooting sports in the nation. Using guns from the 1800’s along with costumes and an alias, you get to play your favorite Western character while shooting a fast and fun competition.
TACTICAL 3 GUN. This discipline is an “off-shoot” of the typical Multi-Gun genre. It does not adhere to a run & gun mentality. T3G’s focus is on technique, accuracy and the use of cover.
