ACTION STEEL LEAGUE.  An Action Steel match usually consists of 5-6 stages, each with multiple shooting positions and an array of steel plates typically requiring from 16-24 rounds, assuming you get all your hits. You should be comfortable moving between shooting positions and reloading on the move.

The Rimfire Challenge match is designed for new shooters to step into shooting competition. Using a .22 rifle and/or pistol (some shoot rifle or pistol only, some shoot both, up to the competitor) this is an introduciton to shooting matches without the pressure of complex stage design.

smallbore iconSMALLBORE RIFLE competition is fired with single-shot .22” Long Rifle firearms, using either iron sights or telescopic sights.  Firing is done from the prone, kneeling and standing (and occasionally sitting) positions.  Distances to targets are 50 feet, 50 yards, 100 yards, (and 50 meters for International competition).  Time limits are very generous; essentially the time limits are designed to make sure we go home for dinner!
