The CFRPC .22 Steel Challenge match is designed for new shooters to step into shooting competition. Using a .22 rifle and/or pistol (some shoot rifle or pistol only, some shoot both, up to the competitor) this is an introduciton to shooting matches without the pressure of complex stage design.

The stages are five to seven targets with a stop plate, the stop plate is the last shot.

The Rules Of CFRPC .22 Steel Challenge

  1. Always Be Safe while handling firearms
  2. Have fun or go home!!!! (the 2nd rule of rimfire, if you can't have fun you are in the wrong place)
  3. Meet fellow shooters and make new friends.
  4. Talk about the 22 challenge (this is the opposite fo Fight Club)

All participants who are not CFRPC Club Members must sign a liability waiver each year.  The Liability Waiver can be downloaded HERE.  This is a .pdf form which can be filled in, printed, 3 hole punched, and brought to the range.  This will save you time and help us read your information.  Please note, by turning in this Liability Waiver, you will get a card at your next match that indicates CFRPC has a liability waiver on file for you.  You can show this card at any CFRPC match to avoid having to sign another waiver.  However, if you forget to bring the card with you, you will have to sign another release. NO EXCEPTIONS:  show a card or sign a waiver.

IF YOU PLAN ON USING YOUR CARRY FIREARM FOR THE MATCH, IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL AT THE RANGE FIND A RANGE/SAFETY OFFICER WHO WILL TAKE YOU OVER TO ONE OF THE BAYS AND HAVE YOU CLEAR THE FIREARM.
