I've been asked about having a Rimfire division at the CFR&PC's Inaugural ZSA match. After getting some input from other Discipline Directors and Board members I've decided we will have a Rimfire (handgun only) division. There will be certain requirements for the Rimfire division:
1.You must have enough magazines or speed-loaders to complete a 30 round COF.
2. Start position for a Rimfire pistol will be "Low Ready", magazine inserted but chamber empty. Rimfire revolver cylinder open, speed loader in hand. If you have a holster, then the weapon will start loaded in the holster.
3. The ZSA's requirement that steel must fall will be waived for the rimfire division. In other words if you hit the steel it will count as a ZK but beware there will be a couple of stages where the steel activates another target. If the steel does not fall, thus not activating the hidden target you will receive a miss for that target. It will not be a range malfunction!
